My name is Don W. and my mother is a resident here at Four Seasons. I'm writing this letter to you to commend an employee of Four Seasons that works the afternoon shift on the Spring unit.
Trina, the nurse that works the Spring unit on afternoons did a great, great job getting the pneumonia diagnosed with my mother last Saturday night 2/6. She and I observed my mother’s distress that night. And because she knows and cares about her people on that unit, took prompt action by calling for ASAP x-ray and blood work for my mom. Because of this there was fluid found to be building up in and around my mother's lungs. She got the proper antibiotic for her and was prudent on following up with her care the next couple of days. Because of her work ethic my mother avoided serious problems that can as you know arise from pneumonia for the elderly.
Trina is an asset to your staff and should be 'Thanked’, I believe, by the administration for the good job she does on the Spring unit. I've thanked her personally but more never hurts l say. So if you get a minute to tell her about this letter and convey the importance it is for family like myself to know someone is trying to care for these residents properly.
